San Diego is one southern Californian city that has it all – wineries to the east, the best beaches to the west, and an international border to the souther. So when they all come together in a charity event, the whole city gets involved. We’re talking about the glitzy Chocolat & Vino Affair put together by the local Young Professional Committee. It recently hosted it’s sixth annual event at downtown’s Stingaree, where it was all about socializing, grapes and sweets.

For those who enjoy chocolate, various shades of wine and local fare, the Chocolat & Vino Affair is an essential every year. This year’s event was hosted at the Gaslamp nightclub Stingaree, where the upper half of the venue welcomed all kinds of local. Large Buddha statues opened guests to the rooftop bar, where the majority of the residents rested their feet. Every wine imaginable offered guests an endless glass of grapes, including Falkner, South Coast Winery, Wilson Creek, One Hope Wine and others.

For the sweet tooth, The Cravory Cookies (as pictured above), Edible Arrangements, The Melting Pot, San Diego Desserts and Java Fit Coffee all made the event even sweeter. Guests packed the roof on the practical San Diego evening until late into the evening, as guests pilled up on Royal Thai sides, Red Pearl edamame and pot stickers, washed it down with wine following chunks of chocolate.
