You can do various things in San Diego that will hold the interest of the kids in your party. You have to plan your itinerary in such a way that you include these places in your tour. The following are some ideas that you can use for the kids.

The world-famous San Diego Zoo is a must-visit, you will see some of the world’s rarest wildlife including giant pandas and koalas. Another must-visit is SeaWorld San Diego, which has hosted more than 100 million visitors since its opening in 1964.

Try out the LEGOLAND, which no kid in the world must miss! It is a theme park about the Lego Building Blocks and if your kids have been playing with Lego, like most kids in the world have, then it will be an unforgettable experience for them. The park is just a little away from San Diego in a place called Carlsbad.

Anaheim, which is just an hour and a half drive away from San Diego has two wonderful parks which the kids will never be able to get enough of. These are the Disneyland Park and the Disney’s California Adventure Park. The parks are quite close to each other and can be visited at one go.

Do not lose out on the opportunity of visiting the Balboa Park, San Diego’s prime attraction. There are several attractions here but the kids will love the San Diego Hall of Champions which is a museum that hosts several sports activities. The hall has three complete floors of various sport-related exhibits and the kids are going to have a really interesting time here!

Another place where you can be sure the kids’ eyes will be popping out is the San Diego Model Railroad Museum. It is the biggest such display all over the world. Children can have a whale of a time looking at the various model trains, including Thomas the Tank Engine. This museum is also located within the Balboa Park.

Take the kids to the San Diego Mission Bay also. Here, among other things, they can feast their eyes on Sea World, an amazing aquatic theme park with various sea exhibits. And, there is also Speed Circuit, where the tots can have fun racing go-carts.
